The situation reportedly occurred in January.Per ABC15's website. "At this point we can only say the investigation is ongoing," Scottsdale police spokesman David Pubins said. "We are interviewing those involved and processing any physical evidence we may have to try and determine if criminal charges are appropriate." Beasley had his fair share of struggles off the court as well as on it in the 2012-13 season, his first with the Suns. He was pulled over for going 71 mph in a 45 mph zone on Jan. 25, and police found a loaded gun in his vehicle before releasing him.Statistically, Beasley's season was the worst of his five years in the. NBA by averaging 10.1 points per game but shooting 40 percent from the floor. Beasley started 20 of the 75 games he played, mostly under head coach Alvin Gentry. At one point in the season, the forward said he had been playing so well because he "stopped listening" to everyone, including his coaches. The Suns signed Beasley to a NBA Live 18 Coins three-year, $18 million contract in the summer. The news comes hot on the heels of the Suns' hiring of general manager Ryan McDonough. The former Boston Celtics assistant GM will be tasked with dealing with Beasley, who was brought on by former general manager Lance.
